Innovative rear derailleur for outstanding shifting performance

The GX Eagle Transmission rear derailleur is a smaller version of nothing. It offers everything an Eagle Transmission rear derailleur can offer and then some. It features a revised battery location and a reconfigured gearbox to better protect itself from hits.

To ensure the rear derailleur shifts crisply and looks good throughout its life, hardcore riders can swap out both the bottom guard and the two-piece outer link if necessary - making it the most repairable rear derailleur SRAM has ever made. It also features the first tool-less cage and clutch assembly that can be both disassembled and upgraded. With a steel inner cage for added strength, the rear derailleur is built for real-world use.

Like all Eagle Transmission rear derailleurs, this one features a new type of hanger-less interface that mounts around the wheel axle and makes direct contact with the cassette, eliminating the need for a derailleur hanger. The new Transmission rear derailleurs can be coupled and set up just as intuitively as SRAM's Eagle AXS rear derailleurs. The revolutionary full-mount attachment creates a much stronger connection that grips either side of the frame. The GX Eagle Transmission rear derailleur is in no way inferior to the other rear derailleurs. It's busy all day long. All in - all day.

AXS™
AXS™ is SRAM's new integrated platform for connecting electronic bicycle components with software. The SRAM AXS™ app not only allows the rider to check the battery status, influence the shifting behavior and configure the controls according to personal preferences, but also to create maintenance plans and update the firmware.

eTap®
Wireless shifting, energy management of the batteries and mechatronics - SRAM's eTAP technology serves one goal: to offer you the most intuitive operation possible. SRAM calls the switching logic behind it eTAP. The right lever shifts to the higher gear, the left to the lower gear. You can control the chainrings using both levers. Simple, smooth and intuitive.

X-SYNC™
X-SYNC™ 1x chainrings from SRAM ensure maximum performance and durability. The long SRAM X-SYNC™ tooth edges engage the chain earlier than traditional triangle-shaped teeth. The sharp and narrow tooth profile as well as the rounded sloping edges support the chain guidance. In order to offer the best possible performance even in muddy terrain, the X-SYNC™ chainrings have recesses for the inner chain links and rollers to evacuate dirt and mud. Made in Germany, X-SYNC™ chainrings are an important part of SRAM's 1x™ drivetrain.
