Bringing the lightest bike to the start line has always been one of the biggest challenges for top teams. But the fight for every gram demands sacrifices. XC hardtails stand for hard, fast rides at the expense of off-road capability and versatility.

But who said that fighting the exhausting battle against your bike's rigidity and stubbornness will make you any faster? We realized that the fastest bike isn't just the lightest. That's why we abandoned conventional rear ends that only cause pain with their rigidity and took a completely different approach. The result was our incredibly capable, legendary comfortable, incredibly light and extremely fast Epic Hardtail.

Of course, we optimized every inch of the frame to create the lightest production hardtail in the world. That goes without saying. But our real goal was to develop a hardtail that combines performance with comfort. Aggressive geometry for single trails, more tire clearance and unprecedented vertical compliance, made possible solely by obsessive engineering, are now the hot facts of the Epic hardtail.
