PureGrip Compound - The outstanding mixing technology
Based on the activated silica compound, a focused effort was made to develop a mixing technology for the performance segment. The result of intensive development work by Continental's Korbach-based research and development department is a new mixing technology with outstanding grip and long-distance performance characteristics. The new rubber compound, aptly named "PureGrip," ranks just below the BlackChili compound and is used in performance products for the racing and mountain bike segments. It ensures long-lasting traction and high mileage for Continental tires, which are manufactured exclusively at the production facility in Hefei, Asia.

ShieldWall System - Leaves nothing to be desired
The ShieldWall system combines the optimal combination of high puncture protection and excellent rolling resistance at a low weight. This is made possible by an additional, continuous puncture protection layer consisting of a finely woven cross-weave fabric. This gives the tire high resistance to punctures and damage. Despite the additional layer, the tire retains very good damping properties and high flexibility to perfectly adapt to the terrain. The revolutionary Tubeless Ready bead allows for easy and straightforward tire mounting. Conti Revo-Sealant provides a reliable seal.

Tubeless Ready
The specially developed, additional, and continuous puncture protection layer of the casings is particularly resistant and impervious to damage and the penetration of foreign objects. For maximum effectiveness, Continental combines ProTection with BlackChili Compound. The result: your tires are versatile, lightweight, and have an attractive design. Furthermore, tires with this technology can also be used tubeless-ready.

E25 - E-bike compatible
For e-bike tires, Continental draws on over 100 years of experience with moped and motorcycle tires. All city/trekking tires meet at least the standard for speeds up to 25 km/h. Tires marked E50 are also approved for S-Pedelecs. Their high-quality construction provides excellent puncture protection, low rolling resistance, and protection against premature wear caused by the additional drive power.
