The Recon 1.0 gravel and MTB shoe is the perfect match for riders who are getting into outdoor adventures or who want to saddle up with cleats for their first big tour. Its efficiency, coupled with comfort, intuitive handling and ergonomically designed and scientifically proven Body Geometry technology, creates confidence from the first meter to the last climb before the viewing platform. But advanced riders who are looking for a pair of economical all-rounders for the home trainer will also be well served with the Recon 1.0.

BODY GEOMETRY: Like all our shoes, the Recon 1.0 is ergonomically designed and scientifically proven. This increases comfort and performance for every rider and reduces the risk of injury with patented technology. All of this has been proven to increase performance by an average of 7 watts.

STRIDE TECHNOLOGY: The secrets of Stride technology are a flexible outsole and flexible upper around the toe box, combined with a rigid mount for the pedal plates. This combination allows the shoe to flex slightly when walking, but remains stiff and efficient when pedaling.

EFFICIENCY: The Recon 1.0 uses the BOA® L6 twist lock with Dyneema® cords. In less technical terms, this means: soft laces without hard cord guides that press on the foot. The upper material adapts to the foot as if it were made to measure and the outsole guarantees the best power transmission with its specifically stiffened sections.
