Whether it's conquering gaps, mountains, or borders, the Nomad racks up countless air miles and vertical meters for every millimeter of suspension travel. It boasts 170mm of travel on its 38mm fork.

With feeling and traction

By lowering the anti-squat value, Santa Cruz reduces pedal kickback during hard, high-speed impacts. This also improves responsiveness to provide maximum traction at all speeds, uphill and downhill.

Quick-witted and confident

A lower leverage ratio reduces the impact of rider weight on the geometry. And less progression allows the rear suspension to work more consistently throughout its travel.

• 170mm travel: A single-crown bike with the necessary travel for the steepest and rockiest trails.
• Glovebox: Pack everything you need under the sturdy flap in your downtube. The bike comes standard with a "Tool Wallet" and "Tube Purse," so you always have everything you need close at hand.
• Size-dependent geometry: The Nomad's chainstay lengths increase with frame size, and the seat angle becomes steeper. This ensures that every rider – regardless of size – receives the same balanced geometry and perfect handling characteristics.
• MX wheels: The MX setup offers the stability and control of the 29" front wheel, while the 27.5" rear wheel provides agility and an active riding style.
• Flip the chip: In the Low setting, the rear suspension becomes more progressive, especially at the end of its travel, almost eliminating bottom-outs. In the High setting, the bike sits slightly higher in its travel and offers more support in the mid-stroke.
• Size-dependent frame stiffness: Larger riders cause greater stress. Therefore, Santa Cruz adjusts the stiffness for each frame size to ensure that every rider receives the same ride quality.
