Gripton Compound
The performance of a tire depends largely on the rubber compound used. Specialized 's development of the GRIPTON rubber compound is based on a completely proprietary formulation that is completely under their control. This new rubber compound impresses with its very low rolling resistance with excellent grip and controllability in all situations, be it sudden steering maneuvers, high speeds or sharp leanings when sprinting and cornering. In addition, GRIPTON offers a high level of reliability in all-round use, as well as under adverse road and weather conditions.

Blackbelt
Blackbelt provides good puncture protection on the running surface without negatively affecting the rolling properties. This is ensured by the flexible nylon layer under the tread, which allows the tire to roll off easily and smoothly. The nylon layer is doubled for even greater puncture protection. For additional side wall protection, Blackbelt is combined with the Endurant Casing.
