Ice-Tech FREEZA

Shimano Ice Technologies ensure rapid heat dissipation from your disc brake. The brake pads are equipped with aluminum cooling fins. The brake disc features a sandwich construction, with stainless steel enclosing an aluminum core. The stainless steel on both sides ensures long-lasting durability, while the aluminum dissipates heat. FREEZA is the advanced brake disc technology, with additional fins in the aluminum of the disc for even better heat dissipation. This cooling technology creates consistently high braking performance and longer brake pad durability, while reducing fading and brake noise.
