The drive chain, in its apparent simplicity, performs a critical and fundamental function for the safety of the driver and for the optimization of the entire mechanism of the drive system. The new Super Record drive chain also had to be redesigned to connect with all of the other new drive system components. The first and fundamental objective was therefore to reduce their overall dimensions. The width is now 5.15 millimeters thanks also to the new pins, which are perfectly aligned with the outer surface of the chain links. The second objective was to ensure performance through the Ultra-Link system, which gives the drive chain safety and durability, and through a special treatment that guarantees extremely high smoothness and precision when shifting. The Super Record™ drive chain is available with two locking options: with the classic Campagnolo pin or with the new C-Link™ for even easier disassembly and cleaning. The two versions have been designed to offer the necessary versatility to meet the different needs of each type of use. With both versions you can enjoy the same strength and efficiency by using the same materials and processes.
