The lenses enable even more accurate and precise vision than conventional lenses, in which the images are enlarged and objects appear as if they had been shifted from their actual position.

UV protection thanks to Plutonite® lens material
Ultraviolet light is an invisible form of radiation that hurtles toward your retina at 180,000 miles per second. Eye disorders caused by UV rays include cataracts, photokeratitis (snow blindness) and pterygium (wing fur). Damage from UV light occurs gradually. UV rays are usually not felt, so there is no natural warning sign of damage. While clouds can reduce UV rays from reaching your eyes, clouds alone do not completely block UV rays – meaning your eyes can be exposed to UV rays even on cloudy days. Oakley Plutonite® lens material blocks all ultraviolet radiation from the sun's thermonuclear furnace at every wavelength, not just the low UVA spectrum. Even Oakley's clear lenses filter out 100% of all UV rays.
