Fox Racing Shox is an american company headquartered in Watsonville, CA, focusing on the production of cushioning, suspension systems as well as suspension forks especially for mountain bikes, motorcycles, quads and snowmobiles. Offered are both steel springs and air damped elements.
In 1974 Bob Fox draw first prototypes of air dampers for the motocross use. In 1977 the company was founded under the name Fox Factory, Inc. After numerous victories and successes Fox concentrated on the car and snowmobile racing. Since 2001 the company produces suspension forks for bicycles under the name Fox Forks.
Fox employs about 450 people in different areas.
